We've got exactly what you're looking for. I'd recommend going with the Reese M5 hitch and rail system which would consist of the # RP30921 hitch and the # RP30073 installation rail kit. The hitch itself features a 1-piece jaw system that holds the 5th wheel king pin super-tight for a very smooth ride without much of the banging and clattering you'd experience with some other 5th wheel hitches. The under bed mounting rails resemble the in-bed pucks you see in newer trucks that have the... view full answer...
In order to determine if a hitch mounted accessory will clear the spare tire on the Roadmaster Spare Tire Carrier part # RM-195125 you will need to measure the distance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest part of said accessory. This distance will need to be more than the distance from the center of the hitch pin hole on the spare tire carrier to the outer edge of the tire which is 5-3/4" plus the width of the tire. If you have a 225/75-15 tire with zero offset then the... view full answer...
I would recommend the B and W Companion hitch part # BWRVK3300 that was designed to fit the underbed rail kit of your Ford F-350. The Companion is generally referred to as the nicest fifth wheel hitch on the market so I would highly recommend it for you.
It has a 20k capacity so it would have more than enough capacity for your 14k trailer. I attached a review video for you to check out as well. view full answer...

In order to get the right Weight Distribution (WD) system for your towing setup, you will need to know your actual Tongue Weight (TW) when fully loaded and ready to tow. You will also need to include any weight from behind the rear axle of your tow vehicle. As you determine this weight, keep in mind that the TW is 10% to 15% of the total loaded weight of your trailer. A great tool to help with determining your tongue weight is the etrailer Trailer Tongue Weight Scale, Item # e99044.

The Edge Diesel Evolution CTS3 Performance Tuner # EP96TR referenced in your question is confirmed to fit your 2002 Ford F-250 7.3L Diesel. I can't be certain what your local shop is referring to with regards to an existing chip on your truck but most likely it is some kind of tuner. If there isn't anything currently plugged into the OBD-II port on your F-250 then it may have been one that can be removed after setting the tune. Either way, if there is a current tune on the truck it will... view full answer...

You'll need to install a set of fifth wheel rails in the bed of your 2009 Ford F-350 Super Duty to be able to install the Reese 5th Wheel Slider part # RP30051. For that you'd want to use a custom install kit like the Reese part # RP50082-58 which will minimize drilling and install time when compared to a universal kit. It's possible the holes in your bed would match to this as well.
I attached an install video for this on a similar 2009 Ford F-250 for you to check out as well. view full answer...
The brake controller I recommend for your 2002 Ford F-250/F-350 is the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller # 90885 which is currently our most cost effective proportional brake controller. The Tekonsha Prodigy P2 will use the same plug you have installed now for your old Reese brake controller so it will be plug and play. This controller also has a lifetime warranty.
The proportional brake controller option will be far better than a timed-delay option. The main reason for this... view full answer...
Both the StableLoad pads for the lower overload springs, part # TLA7311, or an air bag kit, like part # F2550 that fits your 2004 Ford F-350 dually, are compatible with the StableLoad bump stops, part # TLA7200. Which I recommend depends on how often your truck has the camper and is towing the boat. Or at least how frequently you switch between having the truck loaded to not loaded.
The airbags are the easiest and most adjustable option for suspension enhancement available. They're... view full answer...

This act states, in part, that unless the installation and the part caused a problem then the warranty cannot be voided. Thank you for the details. Since you have the short bed you will need to go with a sliding 5th wheel hitch so that the trailer does not come into contact with the cab on your 2014 Ford F-350 when you are making tight turns.
The pucks do make installing a 5th wheel hitch a bit easier (you just place the hitch in the pucks and lock them in place with handles) plus they allow you to have unrestricted access to your truck bed when you aren't towing your trailer. I highly recommend the Demco... view full answer...
